Strategic Operations Manager
A little bit about me, Mrs. Wendy Groover. First and foremost I am a wife and mother. My husband is the love of my life and I know that we were brought together by a God who loves us and wants us to have someone to share in all we do. My children range in age from almost 20 to 12, and it is truly amazing how fast they grow up! I love hanging out with them, working around the house, and playing golf.
At age 18 I joined the US Army where I spent ten years. Funny thing is, ever since I was a little girl, even during my time in the military, I knew I wanted to teach. So now, after working as a teacher in the public school system of N.C. for seven years, it is time to take the next step. I did not grow up in a home that was particularly religious, and it was not until my early twenties that I came to know and understand the important role God plays in our lives, and I joined a church where I publicly accepted Christ as my Savior. I know the importance of raising our children through the Word of the Lord. I also know that God is at work here in Rocky Mount, and New Life Christian Academy is where He wants me to be. I am excited about this opportunity we have all been given, and I look forward to working with you and your children to help them not only attain academic success but to grow in the gospel as well.
