7th Grade Homeroom
Julie attends North Rocky Mount Church of God.
Her mother is Julie Harrison, and her sister is Angelina Harrison.
Julie's favorite part of teaching is watching students improve, learn, and mature throughout the year.
Julie wants everyone to know that God has something out there for you to do. God and find it. Strive for success; make goals. When you fail, get back up and start again. Never stop. Your rest is in the Lord. Take risks and learn from your mistakes.

Bert attends First Baptist Church in Rocky Mount.
His favorite part of teaching is watching students learn.
Bert was saved in a revival meeting at Falls Road Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. He has been teaching school for 56 years. 46 of those years have been in Christian education. He has spent almost all of his life in Rocky Mount, except for the five years he attended UNC Chapel Hill. His wife of 51 years is also a Rocky Mount native. They have two girls and a granddaughter.
M.S. Keyboarding & H.S. Physical Education
Heather attends Englewood Baptist Church where she signs in the ASL ministry, works in the children's ministry, and on the set-up team.
She has been married to her husband, Billy, for 15 years. They have 2 sons.
She enjoys encouraging students to learn.
Heather was a "good" person growing up, but she realized that something was missing in her life. Through the witness of others in her late teens, she found the need for a personal relationship with Jesus. Since that day, she has been serving the Lord as she teaches children and comes alongside families.
8th Grade Homeroom
Buddy attends Westview Baptist Church where he is the Sunday School president, substitute Sunday School teacher, and a fill-in usher.
He and his beautiful wife, Christy, have 3 adorable children.
His favorite part of teaching is working with the students and sharing the Gospel while teaching History and Bible classes.
Buddy was saved at the age of 6 by accepting the Lord as his Savior. She strives to have a daily walk with God by reading the Bible, praying, and serving where he can. He loves bringing his passion for history and combining it with his passion for God's word to create the Christian point of view for his students. His foremost goal as a teaching is to bring his students to a saving relationship with Jesus and grow in the Word of God.

Melissa attends Englewood United Methodist where she is the choir director and pianist.
Her favorite part of teaching is building relationships with students and learning as she teaches.
Melissa accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior as a child when she was praying with her mom before bed one night. She has had the honor of leading each of her children to the Lord in the same way. She has always been active in church, especially in music. God gives her hope and a thirst to know Him more every day.
