ACCREDITATIONS
NLCA is a proud member of the National Association of Private Schools, as well as, a member of the North Carolina Christian Schools Association.
COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS
A minimum number of community service hours are required for all high school students annually. 9th-12th grade is required to work 10 hours (40 hours throughout high school career). Additional hours will be required for the National Honor Society.
DUAL ENROLLMENT
NLCA partners with Nash Community College to provide students with an opportunity to earn college credits through the Career & Promise Program (CCP). Students may choose from a wide variety of career fields or a pathway towards college transfer classes. Upon successful completion, these courses are added to the student’s transcript and count as credits toward graduation.

NLCA requires a minimum of 26 credits to graduate. See below for requirements.

Bible Credits (one for each semester attending)

3 Science Credits
3 History Credits
1 Health/PE Credit
Electives (1 credit each)
Academic Scholar Endorsement
This is a special recognition for those students who go above and beyond in their academics by earning extra credits and maintaining a GPA of 3.70 or higher, along with their regular course requirements. Students earn an extra seal on their diploma, and it is noted on their transcript.
